Of the few times I've eaten here, I find their vada-pavs to be good, not great, and in my humble opinion, not 'The Best in Pune' by a long shot. Sure, these guys are better than Joshi and other factory produced stuff, but I prefer S Kumar at Hadapsar or even the stall besides Sohrab Hall for their vadas and accompaniments.
Their basic vada is quite competent, but it is the accompaniments that the place lacks. Just to compare, S Kumar's offers green and tamarind chutneys, garlic & red chilly chutney, chopped onions and fried salted chillies with their snack, all of which elevate the taste in to something extraordinary.
Do give it a shot if you're around and in the mood for some piping hot vada-pavs, but otherwise, it's not very difficult to find better options.
